Frequently Asked Questions

What do you do?

I have had the opportunity to work within all forms of marketing and communication. I can assist your business with everything from websites, logos, email campaigns, custom trade show designs, packaging, flyers, brochures, PPT presentations, corporate branded apparel and everything in between.

What kind of experience do you have?

I have been in the graphic design business for over 20 years. If you have a special project, please ask….I’ve probably done it! While in college, I started my internship designing sorority and fraternity shirts for SFA. After graduation, we moved to Lubbock and I was well trained in the printing industry. I worked in the printing industry for about 10 years. From there, we moved to Dallas and I began work in Addison for a design company that managed printing, corporate wearables (Sonic, Pizza Hut, Subway) as well as produced water labels for the major of Las Vegas casinos.

How long will it take to complete my project?

I get asked this question quite often. No two projects are alike. A project can take anywhere from 3 days, 3 weeks or 3 months. I do my best to work within your timeframe.

I'm ready to get started, now what?
Once we have determined the scope of the project, I can deliver several different mockups that fit within your parameters. Together, we can work from those and fine tune your project.
Can you redesign my website?
Yes, many clients have existing sites that are outdated or need additional functionality. This is very common. I can work with your host to  recreate your site, allowing you to have full access and ownership.
I want to start a new business, what can you do for me?

It’s simple. Start with a logo. From there, we can create an online presence for your business that shows integrity and tells your story and assures credibility while meeting your business goals.

Do you do all of the work yourself?
Yes, I do handle all of the communication and production from beginning to end. With low overhead, I can pass on a lower cost to you for your project.
How much do you charge?
Of course, this is the first question I get asked. After discussing the project in depth with my client, a proposal will be made based either on an hourly rate or project-based. A deposit may be asked at time of service with the balance being due at the completion of the job.
Should I use a freelancer or agency?
A growing number of clients prefer using a freelance graphic designer as opposed to an agency. There are several benefits, pricing being the FIRST! You also get to work much more closely with your designer, instead of relaying everything through an account manager.
What if I don't have a URL?
No problem, if you have a company name, I can work with a registrar to get your domain name secured. I can also take care of your web hosting. If you need assistance with emails, and I’m sure you will, I can set them all up for your business partners (example@domain.com).
Can you print my materials?

Yes, over the years, my experience has allowed me to work with a wide array of vendors. The major benefit has been identifying each vendor’s strength at the most reasonable price possible.

Will my website be mobile-friendly?

Yes, all of the websites I design are responsive and resize according to the user’s screen size. Along with that, my websites contain a mobile friendly framework that work well on any device.
