About Me

Family

My friends and family are EVERYTHING to me! They keep me ground and fill my life with laughter. I have been married to my husband for over 30 years and we have a 22 year old daughter, Hannah, that recently graduated from Texas Tech (Wreck ’em).

Fur Baby Love

After losing my mom in a car accident, this little girl saved me from the grief. She’s smart (of course), cuddly, and hardly ever leaves my side!

Travel

I LOVE to travel! There is nothing better than exploring the world with my best friend. I take some design inspiration from the places we have been and the cultures we have experienced.

How it all started…

2024

Laura Brooks Design

Taking the leap of faith to begin your own business is never easy. Life is full of ups, downs, ins and outs. However, all of my past experience have led me to where I am today.

2011

Marketing Manager

Working for one of the top merchant acquirers in the U.S., my focus was on marketing to both B2B and B2C. The role called for support of our indepndent sales offices as well as financial institutions. 

2009

Marketing & Advertising Manager

While working for the top adult beverage company in Texas, I successfully developed national private brands from initial concept through to retail launch. This involved creating comprehensive solutions including packaging, point-of-sale materials, sales sheets, and promotional campaigns.

1999

Director of Creative Services

While at IQ Media, I collaborated with a team to develop impactful marketing collateral for major clients such as Pizza Hut, 7-Eleven, Subway, and Sonic. This involved crafting a variety of materials, including direct mail, newsletters, catalogs, brochures, photo shoots, email communications, and sales promotions, to support marketing initiatives.

1996

Design Department Manager

This role demanded extensive print expertise, including customer support and account management. This was the foundtion for my printing background and experience. I was responsible for coordinating print production schedules and overseeing campaigns, all aimed at supporting and enhancing ongoing marketing efforts for our clients.
